Our cattle are humanely raised on open range, prime mountain grasses.
Grass-fed beef is leaner, and contains more Omega-3s than grain-fed beef. Sweet high mountain grass will provide a good fat animal that will be all natural and taste great. Many people love this type of beef because it is without feed additives and the high fat rations that you will get with a grain-fed animal. Generally to raise a good grass-fed animal, we keep them about 6 months longer to let them mature and grow to a good weight before slaughter.
Grain-fed beef is known for marbling and tenderness. Grain helps form the intramuscular fat which gives the meat a more rich, tender, and incredible flavor.
